Those of you that know me, or have browsed my blogging site, 2p18.com, probably know by now that I like shopping with and supporting businesses that positively contribute to our world. Whether that is supporting Domestic violence shelters, like Verizon wireless, giving free memberships with each one purchased to a needy family, like Thrive Market, or so many others. 

And there are so many causes out there that need support!

So, that being said, I wanted to follow that model and use part of my profits to support worthy causes. I am actively looking for causes that speak to me...and again, there are many! But I decided to start with something that is also just plain fun. Elephants.

I have always loved elephants, as long as I remember--and hippos, I DO want a hippopotamus for Christmas! But, I digress...

You may or not be aware, but in Tennessee, there has been an elephant sanctuary for 30 years, that gives retired circus and zoo elephants a quiet home. No tourists, no human intrusions, other than their caregivers. I have decided that any elephant themed product I sell on this site will have 5% of the profits donated to this worthy cause.

The first product is in our Kid & Baby collection, sippy cups with cartoon elephant faces. However, that is just the first! Keep and eye out, because more is coming! And if you would like to donate more, you can use the Tip function when you purchase. Anything put in there will go directly to the sanctuary!
